The United Kingdom’s entry to the Zimbabwe International Film Festival (ZIFF), Slumdog Millionaire, will be the opening film for this year’s annual film showcase. The theme for this, the 12th edition of the festival, is Reel Inclusion.
Netherlands based filmmaker, Charles Liburd, is currently in Zimbabwe to hold a script development workshop. The workshop was made possible through a collaboration between Women Filmmakers of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe College of Music and is aimed at upcoming script writers. 
Tsitsi Dangarembga's short film Sharing Day has been nominated for a prize in the "Best Short Film Category" at the African Movie Academy Awards to be held on Saturday 4th April in Port Harcout, Nigeria. Featured Films
